Mechanical Equipment Repair Specialist

We are an industry leader seeking a strong mechanical background and attention to detail for this exciting opportunity in Kent. As a HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of Heavy Goods Vehicles & Light Commercial Vehicles, ensuring they are safe and operational.
Key Job Responsibilities- Regularly inspect and diagnose issues with HGVs.
- Perform a range of vehicle system repairs and maintenance.
- Assemble and fabricate parts to maintain optimal vehicle performance.
- Effectively utilise hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle repairs and services.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication.
- Demonstrable mechanical knowledge and repair experience.
- Able to handle heavy loads during repairs.
- Safe and effective use of hand and power tools.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Precision and efficiency when assembling components.
- Familiarity with HGV electrical systems is beneficial.
