Harrison Scott Associates' client, a leading food manufacturer, is looking for a Food Packaging Technologist Lead to join its Innovation and NPD department. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering ambitious plans for the UK Market, focusing on packaging development and innovation.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the delivery of the Innovation & NPD packaging related plans.
  2. Ensure legal compliance for waste and accurate technical data for new packaging materials.
  3. Champion the NPD stage & gate process on all aspects of Packaging development.
  4. Support the artwork and packaging development process through technologists and the Artwork team.
  5. Translate external sustainability factors into recommendations for the business.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 3-5 years' experience in FMCG packaging management, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
  2. Expertise in packaging related areas, including material properties and machinability, packing technologies, printing processes, and distribution.

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. We are looking for a talented individual with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and high energy levels to join our team.
