Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Band 7 Senior Community Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at North Manchester Hospital site. As one of the main mental health providers within Greater Manchester, we recognize the importance of achieving parity between mental and physical healthcare.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking timely mental health assessments with service users presenting with mental health problems to the accident and emergency department and within the general hospital. This will involve assessing, managing, and care planning that meets the needs of service users and manages identified risks during assessment.
Requirements- NMC Qualification
- Experience of working in a mental health setting
- 3 years post qualified
- Salary: £54,697 - £64,161 per annum (inclusive of enhancements)
- 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays rising to 29 after 5 years and 33 days after 10 years

This role involves working as part of the 24-hour mental health liaison nurse team based at the North Manchester General Hospital site. The post holder will be required to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to meet the needs of service users.
