Roke is seeking a highly skilled Deployment Strategist to manage multiple projects, combining comprehensive project oversight with a focus on deployment planning and execution. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and leading a comprehensive deployment plan, facilitating early engagement with customer teams, managing interdependencies between deployment activities and project teams, and acting as a point of continuity in deployment execution and planning.

The ideal candidate will have relevant Project Management qualifications, SAFe/Agile certifications, background in military operations, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. They will also have direct experience in deployment planning and execution within a Defence or military environment, understanding of military G3 Operations & Deployment, familiarity with project management and deployment tools, strong communication and leadership skills, and a track record of embedding in customer sites and building strong, collaborative relationships to drive deployment success.

You will be expected to coordinate closely with project and deployment teams, act as Deputy for the Head of the unit, foster an environment of continuous improvement, lead internal communications, capture, document, and implement lessons learned from deployments, serve as a military SME, offer operational guidance and support, provide advice, training, and support as needed, and capture and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement in deployment activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and leading a comprehensive deployment plan

  • Acting as a point of continuity in deployment execution and planning
  • Coordinating closely with project and deployment teams
  • Acting as Deputy for the Head of the unit
  • Fostering an environment of continuous improvement

  • Capturing, documenting, and implementing lessons learned from deployments
