Job Title: Sushi Chef Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team at Sainsbury's kiosk in Letchworth. As a Sushi Chef Manager, you will be responsible for leading our team of chefs in the preparation and presentation of high-quality sushi products.

About the Role:
  • Lead a team of chefs in the preparation and presentation of sushi products
  • Ensure high standards of food safety and quality are maintained at all times
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to drive sales and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective production processes
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and waste
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive customer experience
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced food service environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality control procedures
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
