About the Role
As a physiotherapist, you have a strong foundation in clinical skills and patient care. Now, we invite you to apply these skills in a different context – helping individuals navigate the benefits system.
We're looking for experienced physiotherapists who can assess how disabilities or health conditions impact daily life. Your expertise will enable you to conduct thorough evaluations, listen to customers' experiences, and produce accurate reports that inform benefit eligibility decisions.
This is an excellent opportunity to continue using your clinical knowledge while gaining valuable experience in assessments. You'll work with a diverse range of cases across various conditions, developing your skills and expanding your professional horizons.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to understand the impact of disabilities or health conditions on daily life.
- Produce factual reports that help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine benefit eligibility.
Requirements
- A HCPC registered physiotherapist with 1 year's broad post-registration experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work towards individual and team targets in a supportive environment.
What We Offer
We prioritize our colleagues' well-being and offer a range of benefits to support their success:
- A competitive salary: £39,500 to £46,300 depending on location.
- Flexible working arrangements: full-time, part-time, or hybrid options available.
- Clinical development opportunities: ongoing CPD support and time for study.
- Career progression: training programs and opportunities to explore other roles within Maximus.
