CNC Setter and Operator

We are seeking an experienced CNC setter and operator to join our team at Mansell Recruitment Group.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in setting up and operating CNC machines, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications.
  • Ensure accurate loading and unloading of machines using manual or mechanical hoists as needed.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and verify products meet company standards using inspection/measuring equipment.
  • Maintain accountability for finished product quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines when necessary.
  • Keep machines and work areas clean and organized daily.
  • Operate manual machines as required by workload or company needs.
Requirements:
  • Experience in setting and operating CNC machines.
  • The ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
  • Competence in using inspection and measurement tools.
  • Experience with manual lathes.
  • An engineering qualification would be beneficial.
Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £12-£15 per hour, plus overtime for candidates who meet all key qualifications and abilities.

This is a permanent position, and we operate as an Employment Agency for contract/temporary positions.
