We are seeking a seasoned auditor to provide high-level oversight of our thriving audit function. As an Audit Director, you will be responsible for providing effective communication on all aspects of audit compliance across the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review hot and cold audit and assurance files.
- Identify new audit guidance and processes in line with the ever-evolving auditing standards, emerging trends, relevant issues, and review findings.
- Manage relationships with external audit reviewers.
- Lead liaison with the ICAEW on audit compliance matters, including managing regulatory visits and implementing recommendations.
- Monitor audit training needs and champion professional development and compliance knowledge.
- Planning and performing on-site audit due diligence visits and following up on post-completion file reviews.
