A key role has arisen for a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our development team at Metric Group. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the quality of our systems and ensure they meet the highest standards.

Job Description
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining test cases for new software features, system tests, and regression tests.
  • They will perform manual testing and assist with improvements of system and regression testing user acceptance testing.
  • Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business, technical, functional, and user requirements and be able to write acceptance criteria for user stories/requirements to be tested.
  • The salary for this role is competitive, £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of business, technical, functional, and user requirements.
  • Experience testing web and Android Applications.
  • Good understanding and experience of performance testing.
  • Ability and willingness to adapt and learn new technologies and testing techniques.
  • Motivated and flexible individual who can work to deadlines when under pressure.
  • Knowledge of SQL Database required.
  • Full understanding of how to use MS Office – Word/Excel.
