About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our actuarial technical team in a leading mid-sized consultancy.

This role will involve reviewing and validating actuarial calculations, communicating results to team members and client teams, and contributing to the development of actuarial models.

The ideal candidate will have defined benefit actuarial experience, preferably from within another consultancy, and a strong understanding of the legislative framework and structure of defined benefit pension schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and validate actuarial calculations for accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate results to team members and client teams, providing clear and concise explanations of complex actuarial concepts.
  • Contribute to the development of actuarial models, ensuring they are robust, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Defined Benefit actuarial experience, ideally from within another consultancy.
  • A strong understanding of the legislative framework and structure of defined benefit pension schemes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office and actuarial modeling tools.
What We Offer

As a Senior Actuarial Analyst at our consultancy, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, develop your skills and expertise, and contribute to the growth and success of our business.

We offer a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, life insurance, and professional membership fees.
