Infrastructure Architect

DP World is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Architect to join our Regional IT Project Delivery function. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Manager of Infrastructure Architecture to develop and implement IT strategies, technical roadmaps, and technical architecture roadmaps that support business growth and continuity.
Key Responsibilities- IT Strategy and Roadmap Development: Collaborate with the Manager of Infrastructure Architecture to develop and implement IT strategies, technical roadmaps, and technical architecture roadmaps that align with business objectives.
- Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Design and implement highly available and uniform infrastructure solutions that support key business applications and goals.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity and minimize downtime.
- Technical Planning and Support: Conduct strategic technology planning to achieve corporate goals and provide technical support for customers.
- Process Design and Documentation: Document process design and solutions to ensure efficient, flexible, scalable, and maintainable infrastructure solutions.
- Solution Design and Architecture: Design and implement information systems that support the architecture of the organization, taking into account performance, fault tolerance, high-availability, disaster recovery, long-term support, licensing, and 3rd party commitments.
- Team Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with team members to ensure goals are achieved and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Qualifications: A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business administration, or commerce, or a combination of equivalent professional training and certifications, combined with a minimum of 5 years related work experience in this or equivalent position(s). Requires a strong technical IT background, broad experience across a wide range of technologies, and the ability to manage multiple, complex projects on a technical level.
