We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our Emergency Duty Service team. As an Approved Mental Health Professional, you will play a critical role in responding to crisis situations and providing essential support to vulnerable adults and children.
Your primary responsibility will be to work effectively in a team environment, providing assessment, intervention, and support to individuals in crisis. You will be required to work independently, using your expertise and judgment to make decisions and take action.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and circumstances. You will also need to be able to manage complex situations, prioritizing tasks and making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
In addition to your professional qualifications and experience, you will need to be a team player, with a commitment to collaboration and mutual support. Key Responsibilities- Respond to crisis situations, providing assessment, intervention, and support to vulnerable adults and children

- Manage complex situations, prioritizing tasks and making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Social Work Degree or equivalent
- Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) qualification
- Experience of direct work with children and families
- Experience of child protection investigation work (desirable)
- Knowledge of current Community Care practice and multi-agency systems of Assessment and Care Management
- Commitment to anti-oppressive behaviour, practice, and management
