Job Title: Material Master Data Codification Test Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Lead to join our team at Subsea7, a global leader in the delivery of offshore projects and services for the energy industry.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the testing of the Material Codification and ETM System solutions as part of the SAP S4 HANA Transformation Programme. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and technical skills to ensure the successful delivery of the testing workstream.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate a comprehensive test strategy and approach in conjunction with the solution integrator
  • Oversee and participate in the test preparation, execution, defect management, and reporting for test cycles
  • Ensure the successful delivery of solution integrator deliverables for the test workstream
  • Manage the delivery of the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase
  • Develop a test workstream plan and manage testing activities to required quality and timescale
  • Engage effectively with business stakeholders to support all testing activities to realise a successful outcome
  • Own, manage, and report on risks and issues across the testing workstream to ensure the programme successfully delivers expected outcomes and benefits
  • Ensure effective quality assurance across the testing workstream
Requirements
  • Experience in managing testing workstreams on ERP implementations
  • Strong knowledge of test methodologies and processes
  • Experience in test plan development and status reporting
  • Experience in test defect management processes
  • High communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Pro-active, self-driven, forward-looking, collaborative, good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and negotiation skills, able to interface across a spectrum of stakeholders
  • Full SAP project lifecycle experience is beneficial
  • Working knowledge in the functional areas of Finance, SCM, and Asset Management is beneficial
