Role Overview

Pinsent Masons, a leading alternative legal services provider, is seeking a skilled Delivery Manager to join our Managed Legal Services (MLS) team. As a key member of our Disputes team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services to our practice groups and external clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Line manage a team of paralegals focused on delivering work to lawyers and external clients, providing day-to-day supervision, training, and development.
  • Supervise the delivery of legal services to end-users, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Support service delivery management on engagements, including resource planning, quality assurance, output/efficiency reviews, and progress reporting.
  • Develop and implement delivery models to ensure best-in-class service delivery.
  • Build effective working relationships across relevant practice groups and sectors.
  • Collaborate with Resource Management to manage work allocation, capacity, and workload levels.
Requirements
  • Experience working on disputes-related matter types.
  • Alternative legal services experience.
  • Demonstrable experience managing a high-performing team of legal professionals.
  • Experience managing the delivery of legal services in a high-volume, multi-location environment.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders in a large commercial law firm to promote alternative service delivery models.
  • Significant experience working with performance metrics to ensure best-in-class service delivery.
