Job Title: Residential Care Worker

Aceso Healthcare Recruitment Limited is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join their team at a children's residential home.

About the Role

As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people who have experienced trauma. Your primary responsibility will be to provide emotional support, guidance, and mentorship to help them navigate life's challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to children and young people, addressing their unique needs and concerns.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, fostering a sense of trust and security.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a safe and nurturing environment, promoting the well-being of all residents.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for residents.
Requirements
  • Qualification in Residential Childcare or a related field (Level 3 or higher).
  • Previous experience working with children and young people in a residential or similar setting (desirable).
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Full UK driving license (essential).
