About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Writer to join our team at Charles Jenson Recruitment Ltd. As a Content Writer, you will play a key role in creating and optimising digital content for our clients across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and Optimize Digital Content: Develop and implement content strategies to engage target audiences and drive business results.
  • Client Immersion: Develop a deep understanding of our clients' brand tone of voice, customers, products, and services to create relevant and effective content.
  • Content Planning and Creation: Plan, write, and edit a diverse range of content topics and types, including landing pages, blog articles, guides, and social media posts.
  • Content Calendar Management: Manage client content calendars and production workflows to ensure timely and high-quality content delivery.
  • Edit and Proofread: Edit and proofread in-house and externally commissioned copy to ensure accuracy, tone, and quality.
  • SEO Best Practices: Embed best-practice SEO techniques to ensure content performs well in search engine results.
Requirements
  • Degree in English, Marketing, Media, or Journalism: A degree in a relevant field is essential for this role.
  • Professional Writing Experience: Proven experience in writing, editing, and content management, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Excellent Writing Skills: Strong writing skills, with the ability to create engaging and accessible content.
  • Attention to Detail: Impeccable attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Research Skills: Excellent research skills, with the ability to translate data and information into compelling content.
  • SEO Knowledge: Robust knowledge of SEO and content marketing best practices.
  • Organizational Skills: Organized and practical, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Creativity and Innovation: Demonstrable creativity and innovation in a business context.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
