Job Title: Consultant Haematologist

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Haematologist to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Haematologist to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of haematology services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnosis, screening, treatment, and management of patients with blood disorders.
  • Act as a consultant and advisor to other healthcare professionals, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Contribute to the development of haematology services, including the design and implementation of new treatments and protocols.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors and medical students, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  • Conduct research and contribute to the development of new treatments and protocols.
Requirements
  • Be a GMC registered Doctor.
  • Have relevant experience at Consultant level or references to support your transition up to Consultant level.
  • Hold evidence of stand-alone Right to Work in the UK.
  • Pass an enhanced background check (DBS).
