Job Title: Infrastructure Technical Architect

At OCC Computer Personnel, we are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Technical Architect to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing medium to large-scale architecture solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and leading the technical design of systems and services, communicating design decisions and resolving complex technical design challenges.
  • Ensuring that designs adhere to good data practices, compliance, regulatory standards, security frameworks and best practices relevant to highly secure systems.
  • Identifying and capturing non-functional requirements and ensuring that these are reviewed and addressed within technical designs.
  • Collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure a smooth transition from design to delivery.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies, and contributing to the evolution of our technical standards and principles.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Windows server OS's, Microsoft Exchange, virtualisation technologies, server applications and server hardware.
  • Experience with VMware ESXi/vSphere/vCenter/vCloud, General Networks, IDAM/RBAC/ABAC/MFA, Windows Technologies, SIEM, AntiVirus, Health Monitoring, PKI/HSM, Data Diodes, and Cross Domain Gateways.
  • Knowledge of Secure by Design and Zero Trust Principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of the business and external clients.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to take on new challenges.
