Housekeeping Manager Job DescriptionAbout the Role:

Macklin Care Homes Limited seeks an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead and manage the housekeeping staff at Milesian Manor Care Home in Magherafelt. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within the care home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily cleaning of all areas of the care home, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are met.
  • Organise cleaning schedules, conduct regular inspections, and manage supplies to maintain a well-organised housekeeping operation.
  • Work closely with other departments to support overall care home operations and ensure residents' personal needs are respected and catered to.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a care home setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Knowledge of health and safety guidelines, infection control, and hygiene regulations.
