Chief Information Security Officer

We are working with a global IT consulting firm that is now seeking a Head of Information Security to lead their information security initiatives.
This crucial role involves the development, implementation, and enforcement of robust security policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with the company's business objectives and adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Execute a Comprehensive Information Security Strategy: Align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Create, Update, and Enforce Security Policies: Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Lead the Information Security Team: Offer guidance, conduct performance reviews, and foster professional development.
- Identify, Assess, and Prioritize Security Risks: Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Implement and Monitor Security Measures: Protect information systems, networks, and data.
- Ensure Compliance and Conduct Regular Audits: Stay updated on relevant laws and standards.
- Develop and Deliver Security Awareness Programs: Foster a security-conscious culture.
- Maintain Comprehensive Documentation: Produce detailed reports on security incidents and performance metrics.
- Monitor Threat Intelligence Sources: Stay ahead of emerging threats and adapt security strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior information security role with a strong track record of developing and implementing security strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Salary and Benefits:
- £90,000
- 20% non-contractual bonus
