Exciting Opportunity for a Telecoms Field Engineer

M Group Services Limited T/A Magdalene Limited is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Telecoms Field Engineer to join our team in Belfast. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of various projects across the country.

About the Role

The Telecoms Field Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Installation and commissioning of telecoms equipment
  • First line reactive maintenance work on support contracts
  • Working at height, including installation and commissioning of RF feeder, electrical, fibre optic, and copper cables
  • Performing industry standard testing on telecoms and antenna systems
  • Equipment installation and commissioning across various projects
  • Wiring and connection of DC power to telecoms equipment to required standards and regulations
  • 1st Line Support and troubleshooting of customer equipment
  • Planned preventative maintenance RAMS creation and work area/vehicle management
  • Completion of site surveys to enable installation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous work as a junior or field engineer in the telecoms sector
  • Driving for work or managing a company vehicle
  • Previous electrical or mechanical work
  • A strong set of IT skills, including Microsoft Office products, basic DOS commands, mobile phone work apps, and online time sheets
