Job Title: General Care Manager

Job Summary:

Stephen James Consulting is seeking an experienced General Care Manager to lead our client's flagship care home in Southwark, South-east London. As a General Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the care home team, managing staff to drive continuously improving outcomes for residents, and developing a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the care home team, ensuring the highest quality of care and support for residents.
  • Manage the care home team to drive continuously improving outcomes for residents, including through the adoption of a 'risk aware' rather than 'risk averse' approach to care and support.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and revenue for the site.
  • Ensure that notifications to all relevant regulatory bodies are submitted in an appropriate time-frame.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and referral sources to increase client base and revenue.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the highest quality of care and support for residents.
  • Analyse market trends and identify opportunities for new service offerings or partnerships.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years management experience within residential or dementia care.
  • Proven track record of service improvement along with good commercial acumen.
  • Demonstrated exceptional leadership across multi-disciplinary teams and be an expert in achieving the best results from staff teams.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Able to demonstrate 'proven' client facing / presentation skills.

What We Offer:

The role of General Care Manager is offering a competitive salary of £68,000 - £74,000 with an excellent benefits package and achievable bonus.
