As a key member of The Sterling Choice's operations team, the Maintenance Engineer plays a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our production facilities.

We are looking for a skilled professional with experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, specifically in the food industry.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

The salary for this role is approximately £56,000 per year, reflecting the importance of this position within our company.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal machine performance.
  2. Analyze and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  3. Work collaboratively with the night shift team to maintain seamless operations.
  4. Stay current with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:

  1. At least 2 years of experience as a maintenance engineer in a similar environment.
  2. Excellent technical knowledge and analytical skills.
  3. Able to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
  4. Knowledge of food processing equipment and processes.
