Child Welfare Expert in Foster Care

We are seeking a highly skilled social care professional to join our team as a Fostering Social Worker. This role will involve working closely with foster carers and local authority child care teams to ensure the well-being and safety of children in their care.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting and supervising foster carers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care for children.
- Conducting regular home visits and assessments to monitor the quality of care provided by foster families.
- Collaborating with local authority child care teams to coordinate services and support for foster placements.
- A minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience in fostering required.
- Strong working knowledge of fostering regulations and legislation.
- Ability to build positive relationships with foster carers and children.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. The company offers a hybrid model of working, with a minimum of two days spent in the office.
