About the Role

Ritz Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Registration Assessment Officer to join their team. This is a part-time, permanent role with 21 hours per week, completed between Monday to Friday with flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Review Registration Assessment Material: Develop and review new registration assessment material in the registration assessment question bank to ensure it meets the required standards.
  • Provide Coaching and Training: Provide coaching and training to question writers, standard setters, and adjustment advisors to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain Knowledge of UK Pharmacy Practice: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK pharmacy practice and assessment practice to assist with the development and implementation of a re-designed assessment strategy.
  • Contribute to Question Bank Development: Contribute to the ongoing development and lead on the day-to-day management of the registration assessment question bank.
  • Plan and Organize Meetings: Plan and organize all meetings of the Board of Assessors, Reasonable Adjustments Panels, and allegations of misconduct Principal Hearing Panels.
  • Produce High-Quality Agendas and Minutes: Produce high-quality agendas, minutes, and reports to ensure effective communication and decision-making.
  • Support Registration Assessment: Support all aspects of the work of the Board of Assessors in setting, moderating, and marking the registration assessment.
  • Develop Policies and Procedures: Lead as appropriate, the development of policies, procedures, and guidance relating to the registration assessment.
  • Project Manage Activities: Project manage activities carried out by external contractors involved in the marking and analysis of the registration assessment papers and anticipate risks.
  • Collaborate with Registration Assessment Team: Collaborate with other members of the registration assessment team to deliver a high-stakes, high-profile national assessment.
  • Communicate with Stakeholders: Work with internal and external stakeholders, communicating and influencing as required to achieve outcomes.
  • Support Professional Assessment Manager: Support the Professional Assessment Manager in forward planning to ensure work is delivered on time and to a high quality.
  • Maintain Knowledge of Equality Legislation: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the application of UK equality legislation.
  • Facilitate Standard Setting Panels: Lead on the facilitation of standard setting panels and questions writing workshops.
Requirements
  • Pharmacist Registration: Pharmacist registered with the GPhC or PSNI.
  • Broad Experience: Broad experience, preferably multi-sector, as a pharmacist in the UK.
  • Project Management Skills: Experience of managing complex projects, processes, and data.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information confidently.
  • Strong IT Skills: Strong IT skills and ability to manipulate data accurately and effectively.
  • Report Writing Skills: Experience of producing high-quality minutes and substantive reports.
