About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Logistics Operative to join our team at JAM Recruitment Ltd in Barrow in Furness. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for safely and accurately receipt, storing, picking, and dispatching items.
Job Overview:
The successful candidate will report directly to the Stores & Logistics Manager and will be expected to utilize appropriate IT systems, equipment, and processes to meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receipt, store, pick, and dispatch items in a safe and accurate manner
- Utilize IT systems, equipment, and processes to meet customer requirements
- Work closely with the Stores & Logistics Manager to ensure seamless logistics operations
Requirements:
- Forklift Truck (FLT) Licence holder
What We Offer:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading Defence organisations based in Barrow in Furness. The salary for this role is £24.36 per hour on an umbrella basis or £21.46 per hour on a PAYE basis, inside IR35. The contract is initially 6 months.
