Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our team in Coventry. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs and electronic control systems
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to resolve complex technical issues
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime
Requirements:
  • Formal training via an apprenticeship and NVQ Level 3 Qualifications (or equivalent)
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs and electronic control systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with other engineers and technicians
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and schematic diagrams
