Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic Technician to join our team at TRADEBE Fawley site. As a key member of our Operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant by performing routine and defect maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise management on safety issues and carry out risk assessments for maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and perform planned maintenance tasks as required.
  • Determine and execute repair and preventative maintenance on mechanical machinery.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance colleagues to achieve goals and provide mechanical maintenance support to maximize plant operations.
Requirements
  • Numeracy, literacy, and experience with computerized software packages.
  • Good communication skills and a team player mindset.
  • A valid driving license and FLT driver certification.
  • A high standard of workmanship and flexibility in approach to work.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NVQ Level III or HNC in mechanical maintenance.
  • Recognized technicians' apprenticeship.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation and DCS, ESD, and PLC based control systems.
