Commercial Manager Opportunity

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial team to maximize margin and opportunities. This will involve ensuring timely submission of applications, collecting cash in a timely manner, and assisting with final accounts and disputes to ensure commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:
Management and development of the commercial team and daily operations in the department
Live project summary report reviews, ensuring financial reports and forecasts are complete and accurate at month end
Resolving final account disputes with clients and subcontractors within 2 months of off-hire and ensuring dilapidations are maximized
Understanding of contracts and associated risk areas
Leading CPR meetings covering all live projects
Reviewing weekly cash flow to ensure maximum collection of outstanding cash and prompt resolution of customer queries/accounts
Comparing PDOCs to scope to monitor overspend and any margin degradation
Monitoring costs and margins on projects in hire cycle due to maintenance, remedial, and variation orders
Assisting with negotiations of subcontractors to maximize margin through negotiation and tighter control over costs and variation orders.
