Higher Education Learning Strategist

Beacon Support Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Higher Education Learning Strategist to join their team.
Salary:
- £30.00-£40.00 per hour
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing one-to-one study skills and strategy support to students with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC) in a Higher Education setting.
This role requires a thorough understanding of ASC, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans to support students' academic success
- Foster a supportive learning environment that promotes independence and self-confidence
- Collaborate with educators and other support services to ensure seamless delivery of student support
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in autism support and strategies for effective teaching and learning
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant field
- Teaching qualification or equivalent experience
- Awareness of assistive technologies and related AT study skills strategies
- Experience working with students with ASC on a 1-to-1 basis
