Job Description

As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching DT to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will develop and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons and projects that promote technical skills and creativity. Additionally, you will assess, track, and report on student progress in line with school policies and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Design and Technology to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
  • Develop and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons and projects
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for DT, excellent subject knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in an independent school environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Degree in Design and Technology or a related discipline
  • Experience teaching DT at various levels, ideally up to KS5
