SENCO - East London Educational Opportunity

Remedy Education is seeking an experienced SENCO to lead our school's SEND provision in East London. As a key member of the school's leadership team, you will oversee the provision for children with special educational needs or disabilities.

Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Coordinating, overseeing, and supporting the day-to-day operation of our academy's SEN policy
2. Working closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure that every child receives the best possible education
3. Developing and implementing strategies to improve teaching and learning for children with SEND
Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• National Professional Qualification (NPQ) for SENCOs / NASENCO / LEVEL 3 SENCO QTS (or equivalent) and an undergraduate degree
• At least 5 years of experience as a SENCO or in a similar role
• Proven track record of improving teaching and learning for children with SEND
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents
Salary and Benefits:
£50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits package including pension scheme, health insurance, and opportunities for career progression.
