Production Operative Opportunity

The Best Connection is seeking a reliable and skilled Production Operative to join our team in Pickering. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling plastic car parts, quality checking products, operating press machines, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble plastic car parts with precision and attention to detail
  • Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet our high standards
  • Operate press machines safely and efficiently
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Label and pack parts accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
  • Able to work shifts, including days and nights
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Good English language skills, both verbal and written
  • Previous experience in production or machine operating is an advantage
  • Able to commit to long-term work
Working Hours:

We have vacancies on the following shifts:

  • Tue Night: 19:50pm - 07:50am
  • Thu Day: 07:50am - 19:50pm

Candidates can work either one or both of these shifts. Additionally, there may be opportunities to pick up extra shifts during the week or at weekends to increase hours worked.

Pay Rates:
  • First 12 weeks: £12.00 per hour basic rate
  • Overtime paid at £16.80 per hour
  • After 12 weeks: £12.50 per hour basic rate
