We are seeking a highly skilled Flood Risk Consultant to join our Water Environment team in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and leading flood risk assessments and hydrological models on a range of projects locally and nationally.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrological and hydraulic modelling, with experience in using software such as Flood Modeler Pro or TUFLOW. You will also possess a good understanding of the Environment Agency and Lead Local Flood Authorities, as well as up-to-date knowledge of current planning policies and procedures.

As a Flood Risk Consultant, you will work closely with clients and regulators to develop and implement flood risk management strategies. You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing other consultants in the business.
