Job Title: Fire and Security Engineer Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Fire and Security Engineer to join our team at Resourcing Group. The ideal candidate will have experience in fire alarms, IP and analogue CCTV, and be IPAF trained with a valid Chapter 8 ECS card.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, and extra works/emergencies in accordance with contract requirements on Fire & Security Systems.

* Perform PPM in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained to maximise operational effectiveness and reliability of Fire & Security Systems.

* Adhere to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.

* Ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and maintain accurate records/documentation associated with Fire & Security Systems.

* Respond promptly and effectively to all relevant reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests.

* Coordinate visiting specialist sub-contractors associated with Fire & Security Systems aspects of PPM schedules.

* Respond to call-outs and cover breakdowns and emergencies associated with the contract as required.

Requirements:

* Fire & Security Apprenticeship (or recognised equivalent)

* Health and Safety Training

* GCSE (or 'O' Level equivalent) passes in Maths and English or recognised equivalent

* Full experience in fire alarms and certification to evidence this

* Experience in IP and analogue CCTV

* IPAF trained with a valid Chapter 8 ECS card
