About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team at Big Red Recruitment Midlands Limited. As a key member of our cloud team, you will play a crucial role in driving forward our large technology refresh programme across our entire estate with a Microsoft first strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the continued adoption of Azure and the M365 platform, including the implementation of Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Cloud migrations, Virtualisation, Security hardening, and other key projects.
  • Work closely with our team to deliver high-quality cloud solutions that meet the needs of our organisation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Microsoft cloud environments, including Azure, Office Admin, Teams, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Microsoft Security and Compliance, and Exchange Online.
  • Provide expert-level support for O365 Security & Compliance and current email and web security platforms.
Requirements
  • Experience of supporting Microsoft Azure and Office 365 systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft cloud environments, including Azure, Office Admin, Teams, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Microsoft Security and Compliance, and Exchange Online.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with a minimum of 2 days on-site and 3 days remote.
