About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a stimulating environment for children's educational, personal, and social development. This includes maintaining regular contact with parents/carers and offering support, guidance, and care. Additionally, the role requires developing confident and capable young people and meeting their educational, health, and social care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating engaging activities to promote children's educational, personal, and social growth
  • Maintaining effective relationships with parents/carers and other professionals
  • Supporting children in achieving their full potential and meeting their individual needs
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team to ensure high-quality childcare services

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working in a children's home setting
  • A passion for supporting young people and promoting their well-being
  • An understanding of regulatory and legislative requirements of the residential care sector
