We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Workshop Controller
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with organizational HSEQ policy and procedure requirements
- Manage fabrication and machining projects in production, identifying appropriate resources, equipment, and allocation of work areas
- Through effective production scheduling, ensure delivery of projects within budgeted man-hours and on time
- Verify timesheets to ensure accuracy and correct job allocation
- Advise PRPs when projects are ready for NDT/PLT
- Conduct inspections of components prior to coating/delivery
- Optimize coating activities to ensure efficient use of facility
- Ensure plant, equipment, and production tools are available, maintained, calibrated, and serviced
- Participate in meetings with other company functions to aid business and organizational development
- Ensure detailed handover for Nightshift, ensuring all personnel are productive
- May be requested to perform other tasks and work additional hours in abnormal situations to ensure customer requirements are achieved
Requirements:

- Manage pressure and conflicting demands and prioritize tasks and workload

- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- People management skills
39 hours over a 5-day working week or a 4-day condensed working week with a Friday off or paid as overtime working.
Hourly pay will be dependent on knowledge and previous experience.
