About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems IT Engineer to join our Tech Support team at B2C2 OTC Ltd.

This is an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing the latest technologies and products to maximize productivity.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trading environment-specific knowledge and experience in providing expert-level support for complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Maximum Uptime: Utilize real-time monitoring to ensure maximum uptime for production trading systems.
  • Provide Expert Support: Provide expert-level 2 and 3 support for complex technical issues related to our platforms and products, ensuring timely resolution and excellent client satisfaction.
  • Become a Specialist: Become a specialist in trading environment-specific knowledge and effectively coordinate across teams to solve system issues.
  • Monitor and Maintain: Continuously monitor application alerts to ensure systems are running optimally and maintain good quality internal documentation for troubleshooting processes.
  • Lead Incident Response: Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, documentation, and communication.
  • Perform Weekly Duties: Perform weekly support duties checklists.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 Years Experience: Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in a highly skilled technical application support role with a trading firm (buy side or sell side), preferably within cryptocurrency, FX, or equities.
  • Self-Starter: A self-starter able to take and own a problem and follow it through to resolution.
  • Excellent Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Trading Knowledge: An understanding of financial products, trading system architecture, and risk/compliance.
  • Technical Skills: Experience reading code and developing scripts to help with automation and analysis.
  • Team Player: Passionate about helping people with mixed technical ability and experience working in a team environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience with Apple MacBooks and Linux technologies.
