Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at our water production site in Latton. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all equipment at our site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and diagnose complex faults in electrical equipment and carry out repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible.
  • Provide technical advice and support to colleagues and provide training to technical trainees.
  • Participate in a stand-by rota and complete License to Operate training.
  • Work in confined spaces and complete appropriate training for this.
Requirements
  • 18th Edition electrical City and Guilds certification is essential.
  • Ideally an apprenticeship with significant experience in electrical systems working in a true multi-skilled capacity.
  • NVQ or City & Guilds level 3 in mechanical engineering would also be ideal but not essential.
  • Experience in inspecting, maintaining, fault diagnosis, testing, installation, modifying or repairing Electrical plant equipment.
  • Ideally experience maintaining large pumps, actuated valves, electronic control systems such as VSD and 3-phase electrical switchgear is essential.
  • Knowledge and awareness of health and safety issues relevant to the industry would benefit this role.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
