Job Opportunity: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 6 Teacher to join our team at Wayman Education.

About the Role:

We are looking for a qualified Primary Teacher to teach a Year 6 class in a supportive and welcoming school environment. As a Year 6 Teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses.
  • Develop maths ability and introduce fractions, statistics, and geometry.
  • Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
  • Keep track of children's progress and report back to parents.

Requirements:

  • QTS, PGCE, and strong academic record.
  • Creative, imaginative, determined, resourceful, and adaptable practitioner.
  • Passionate about learning.
  • Able to demonstrate a track record of success within a Year 6 environment.
  • Able to communicate your passion to children and parents.
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding practice in the classroom.
