About the Role
University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our Digital Services team. As a key member of our programme team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of our Digital Strategy.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Delivering the Digital Strategy and ensuring that all projects within their remit are managed in accordance with recognized project management principles.
- Developing and implementing plans to deliver key clinical and non-clinical systems, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Working closely with stakeholders to ensure that project delivery expectations are met and that all projects are delivered to the agreed specification and scope.
- Liaising with colleagues and stakeholders to promote a reputation for professional and effective programme and project delivery.

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
- Operational experience of successful project management of Healthcare or other large public sector IM&T systems implementation.
- Experience of producing documentation, implementation plans, and other reports.
- Experience in MS software Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook.
- Experience of communicating with staff at all levels in a large and complex organisation.
Skills and Abilities
The successful candidate will possess:
- Knowledge of current Digital/IM&T best practice, including security and confidentiality.
- Understanding of the business processes and information requirements of the digital agenda.
- Ability to analyse complex issues, perform risk assessment, and option appraisal.
- Ability to produce and implement plans.
- Ability to communicate technical and other specialist issues to non-specialist staff.
