Agricultural Service Engineer Job Opportunity

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a skilled Agricultural Service Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining JCB machinery and other agricultural equipment in the Colchester area.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently. They will also have a good understanding of GPS, Telematics, and machine controllers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service and maintain JCB and other agricultural machinery to the manufacturers specifications.
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic, powertrain, and other faults.
  • Operate diagnostic software via a laptop computer.
  • Complete detailed reports of work completed, including supporting photographs and documentation of all worked times.
  • Consult with the service departments over operational matters.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years experience of a variety of machinery, ideally in the agricultural, commercial vehicle, or construction industry.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Open to weekend work when required.
Benefits:
  • Salary: £34,000- £42,000.
  • Working Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8am- 5pm with a 1-hour lunch.
  • Holiday Package: 23 days + 8BH.
  • Pension - 3% employee contribution and 7% employer contribution.

  • Ongoing training as required.
  • Overtime available (Mon - Sat time and a half, Sunday - double time, bank holiday Monday - double time & day in lieu).
