Civil Litigation Specialist

This role provides an opportunity for a legal professional or a legal graduate with a background or knowledge in civil litigation to manage enforcement files and client relationships while ensuring the timely recovery of funds and maintaining high standards of client care.

You will initially be given training, mentoring, and shadowing before you are given your own caseload.

Responsible for a small caseload of Enforcement files relating to Settlement Agreements, Employment, RTA, and EL/PL claims at the Sheffield office.

Building working relationships with clients and external third parties such as enforcement agencies.

Providing Legal Advice on Civil Litigation:

Advising clients on a range of topics, including settlement agreements, employment disputes, road traffic accidents (RTA), employer liability (EL), and public liability (PL) claims.Responding to legal inquiries promptly and accurately to meet the needs of the clients.

Target Achievement & Compliance:

Staying updated on any changes to relevant laws and procedures that may impact civil litigation or enforcement practices.

Building and Maintaining Relationships:

Collaborating with internal teams and external legal professionals to ensure effective case resolution.Liaising with enforcement agencies or third parties to ensure actions are taken efficiently and within legal frameworks.

Legal Expertise: An understanding of civil litigation would be beneficial.

Hours: Office-based - Monday to Friday 35 hours a week covering 3 shifts on a week-by-week rota 8am – 4pm / 9am – 5pm / 10am – 6pm.

Holidays: 25 with an extra day accrued for each year worked up to a maximum of 31 + Bank Holidays.
