Job Title: Health and Social Care Educator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Health and Social Care Educator to join our team at a large, popular 6th form college in North London. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching BTEC National Applied Science to 16-18 year olds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver lessons to students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental goals

Requirements:

  • QTS / QTLS / PGCE or other relevant teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge across all sciences
  • A proactive and engaging teaching approach
  • Strong classroom management to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with students
  • Ability to use ICT effectively
