The Sterling Choice is looking for an experienced Equipment Engineer to join our production team in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining high-speed automated equipment and production systems. The estimated salary range for this position is £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for overtime and bonuses.

Key Job Responsibilities

  1. Maintain machinery, building infrastructure, and utility equipment to required standards.
  2. Conduct proactive maintenance and support to minimize downtime.
  3. Assist with facility transition and equipment installation alongside external contractors.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical/electrical issues promptly.
  5. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Food Safety standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in both electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • HNC in Engineering (preferred but not essential).
  • Electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3/18th Edition) - not essential.
  • FMCG or food manufacturing experience is desirable.
