Job Title: Multi-Skilled Electrical and Mechanical Engineer

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Electrical and Mechanical Engineer to join our team located in Mansfield.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant, equipment, and building services to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Identify and manage risks associated with equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares, and improving performance of machinery.
  • Use new equipment and technologies to maintain a working production environment and liaise with clients on requests for certain machinery PPMs.
  • Fault find on all types of machinery and provide electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance department.
  • Support others in the department in relation to health and safety and provide guidance on risk assessments and method statements.
  • Work on three-phase systems with voltages up to 440V and use mobile devices to accurately project and complete any works from the CAFM maintenance system.
  • Liaise with onsite site services to manage any building services-related issues and respond confidently and accurately as required.
  • Deputise for the shift leader during annual leave or sickness and work overtime as and when the business requires.
Requirements:
  • A recognised or time-served apprenticeship in electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Strong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance and electrical competences/qualifications to a minimum of City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 electrical qualifications to 18th Edition.
  • Mechanical competences/qualifications to an acceptable standard to City and Guild's Mechanical and good multi-skilled ability.
  • Experience working on 3-phase motors, drives, and inverters, hydraulic/pneumatic experience, and ability to fault find.
  • PLC diagnostics/repair competencies, NVQ qualifications to Level 2, electrical and mechanical, and ability to supervise contractors.
  • Able to write risk and method statements and understand and write permits.
Desirable:
  • Working at height qualification, IPAF, and AP qualifications.
  • Experience of heavy engineering and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
