Job Summary:

This is a key position at City Facilities Management, carrying out planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance across multiple site locations. As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will be the first line in all maintenance throughout your allocated sites. Your primary goal is to carry out technical repairs and PPMs while ensuring all technical and compliance paperwork is up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) refrigeration schedule within agreed timescales and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in accordance with laid-down procedures.
• Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and assess the requirements of the job, carrying out repairs as necessary.
• Prioritize maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
• Order spares in accordance with laid-down procedures.
• Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and advise the Line manager of findings, with recommendations for suitable replacement.
• Ensure compliance documentation is always completed and up-to-date.
• Carry out surveys and complete reports as required by City management.
• Perform minor alterations and installations within individual sites.
