About The Role

Sunbelt Rentals UK is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business-critical applications, as well as contributing to the architectural designs of our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop technical solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring timely and quality delivery of solutions.
  • Analyze and plan technical requirements for solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Review, support, and provide feedback on work items produced by the Business Analysis team.
  • Write and review code for both functionality and standards, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Prepare test cases and strategies for unit and integration testing, ensuring thorough testing of applications.
  • Oversee the successful deployment of applications and solutions, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime.
  • Problem-solve and resolve technical issues, providing expert-level support to the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, ensuring our systems remain cutting-edge.
  • Mentor and support the development of more junior members within the team, promoting knowledge sharing and growth.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in software development, with expertise in C#, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET. You will be comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines, while maintaining a professional and approachable manner. You will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related subject, such as Computer Science, and relevant professional certifications in technologies such as Azure DevOps and Agile Development methodologies.
