Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Planner / Controller to join our team at Entech Technical Solutions Limited. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing and planning customer shipments, ensuring a streamlined end-to-end delivery process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and plan customer shipments from pick-up to delivery, ensuring compliance with global import and export regulations.
- Liaise with internal and external parties, including customers and transportation companies, to ensure a smooth delivery process.
- Monitor and track supplier performance levels, identifying areas for improvement and escalating poor performance to Purchasing teams.
- Review and optimize material planning parameters to ensure consistent production and inventory turns targets are met.
- Manage carrier communications and time-sensitive bookings to ensure goods are dispatched on time.
Requirements:
- Computer literate and willing to learn.
- Knowledge of the shipping process is desirable but not essential.
- Good organization skills and an understanding of shipping (land, air, or sea).
- Transport management experience is desirable.
- Good Excel skills.
